Sayulita Cuisine

If you’re a foodie, then your palette will not be disappointed while dining in Sayulita. Our small community has attracted chefs and culinary styles from all over the world.  Of course, while you are visiting Sayulita, you’ll be able to experience real Mexican cuisine, but why miss out on the other amazing food we have to offer.

argentineLooking for some traditional Argentine food?  Look no further than El Tejon.  Located near the southeast corner of the town plaza, in this tiny little space Marcelo whips up some of the best arrachera and empinadas anyone has ever tasted.

french

Located just across the street from El Tejon, you’ll find fine French cuisine at what is locally called A Bicyclette. A Bicyclette Restaurante opened its door to the public in January, 2005 and has welcomed Sayulita residents and guests to a very comfortable yet relaxing elegant dining atmosphere complete with a sitting room, bar, and small art gallery.  Bruno and Framboise have lived in Sayulita for over 8 years and are incredible hosts.

italianLook no further than Miro Vino, just across from the main plaza.  You’ll always see the owner, Luca Romano, who hails from Perugia, Italy.  Miro Vino is a restaurant like none other in Sayulita.  Luca welcomes any and all visitors, travelers, and locals alike to share his love of great food, great wine, and great companionship. The restaurant/bar Miro Vino offers a little bit of everything including fine Italian cuisine, full bar service, extensive wine list, excellent pizzas, flat screen TV for sporting events, hi-speed Internet, and even a hammock for the perfect siesta.

mexicanIf your looking for the best Mexican cuisine in town, you will probably find it at Sayulita Cafe.  Located right on the main road, Sayulita Cafe serves an excellent blend of fine Mexican cuisine, and an unbeatable chile relleno.  You will also find a great atmosphere, impressive wine list, and excellent service.

burritosA staple in Sayulita, and deserved of its own category apart from Mexican cuisine.  Many have tried, but none have come as close to the complete burrito as have the guys at Burritos Revolucion.  You’ll find this slice of life right on Calle Revolucion, the main road in town, just across from Garcia Realty.  Often crowded during the lunch and dinner rush, Burritos Revolucion is the stop for a cold beer and satisfying burrito that couldn’t possibly leave anyone asking for seconds.

tequilaYou can’t visit Mexico and not have some tequila.  Forget that Cuervo garbage, and that bottom rung Patron swill, Sayulita Fish Taco has a selection of tequila that will change the way you think about it.  None of the face contorting, 20 year-old-spring-break-slamming stuff here, just the best sipping tequila from the tequila region of Mexico.  Pull up a stool at their tequila bar and learn how tequila is made, and learn to recognize the different tastes and hints of flavors.  Tequila tasting has grown, over the years, to become as sophisticated as wine tasting.  You will find Sayulita Fish Taco next to Miro Vino, just across from the Church, which is located in the plaza.
